Organic cotton duvet cover in soft percale, framed with a fine dark carob edge.
Long-staple organic cotton woven to a 300 thread count percale, crisp and cool with a hand-feel that improves with use. This is the same pure white Prism percale, framed with a fine dark carob piping and slightly rounded at the corners. Internal ties hold the insert in place, and biodegradable coconut husk buttons sit concealed behind an extra-deep placket. GOTS and Fairtrade certified.

Pure Standard
- The edge is the whole point. A fine dark carob piping draws a quiet line around the bed, and the corners are softly rounded rather than square. It is the reason this style costs a little more than plain Prism, and the reason we brought it in alongside it.
- Coconut husk buttons, not plastic. Biodegradable, and concealed behind an extra-deep placket so nothing hard sits where you sleep.
- Certified twice over. GOTS covers the organic fibre and the environmental and social conditions it is processed under. Fairtrade covers what the growers were paid. Studio Sutram state this percale is 100% organic, GOTS and Fairtrade certified.
- Percale, not sateen. A tight, flat weave that breathes rather than clings, which matters far more in an Australian summer than a big thread-count number does.
- Dyes you do not have to worry about. GOTS prohibits azo dyes that release carcinogenic arylamines, along with chlorine bleaching and formaldehyde finishes.

Our Take
The details are where this earns its price: a border that frames the duvet so it holds its shape, internal corner ties so the insert stops migrating to one end, and coconut husk buttons hidden behind an extra-deep placket, so nothing hard or plastic sits where you sleep. Percale rather than sateen, and GOTS and Fairtrade both certified. The fine carob piping is what lifts it above the plain Prism, and the reason this is the one we would choose ourselves.
