Bedroom & Living
The bedroom is where fragrance does its quietest work, a linen spray before bed, a candle burning low, incense settling into the air over an evening.
The Bedroom & Living Edit
Candles, incense, room and linen sprays, diffusers, and the small decor objects that make a space feel considered rather than furnished. Fragrance in this range spans both essential-oil and synthetic blends, where it's synthetic, we say so plainly rather than let a "natural-sounding" name do the work.
Are your candles genuinely non-toxic to burn? Check the specifics on each product page, wick and wax type vary by brand. Soy and coconut wax blends with cotton or wood wicks are the lowest-tox options here; a couple of candles use fragrance oils rather than essential oils, which is disclosed in the Pūrē Standard section.
What's the difference between a room spray and a linen spray? Mostly concentration and what they're formulated to touch. Linen sprays are designed to be safe on fabric at close range (pillows, sheets); room sprays are usually stronger and meant to be used at a distance, not directly on textiles.
Do the essential oil diffusers need special oils, or can I use any brand? Ultrasonic diffusers work with most pure essential oils, but check the product page, a couple of our diffusers are matched to specific proprietary oil blends and won't perform the same with unrelated oils.
Is incense actually low-tox, or is that a strange thing to ask? Fair question, incense is combustion, so it's never going to be "clean air" in the way a room spray is. What we control for is the binder and base material: our incense sticks use natural plant-based binders rather than synthetic charcoal accelerants, which matters for indoor air quality if you burn it regularly.

Common questions
What low tox products are best for the bedroom and living areas?
For bedrooms and living spaces, think natural linen and pillow sprays, low tox candles and diffusers, botanical cleaning for surfaces and floors, and considered homewares in safe materials. Everything in this collection is rated against our Pūrē Standard for material and ingredient safety.
Are linen and pillow sprays safe to use on bedding?
The linen sprays we stock are made to be misted onto bedding and linen, using essential oils or gentle formulas rather than harsh synthetics. Check each product page for how to use it, and spray from a distance onto fabric rather than skin unless stated otherwise.
How do I make my bedroom a healthier space to sleep in?
Small swaps add up: choose natural fibre textiles, a flame free ultrasonic diffuser with calming essential oils, low tox floor and surface cleaners, and avoid synthetic air fresheners. Good ventilation and washing bedding in a low tox detergent help too.
Do you stock homewares as well as cleaning for living spaces?
Yes. Bedroom and Living includes candles, diffusers, decor, drinkware, towels and textiles alongside cleaning, all chosen for durability and material safety rather than fast, disposable trend pieces.
Which products suit sensitive or allergy prone households?
Look for fragrance free cleaning and unscented options, and filter by Allergy and Sensitivity. Natural fibre textiles and flame free, essential oil based fragrance also tend to suit reactive households better than synthetic alternatives.
