Common questions
What makes a product vegan?
A vegan product contains no animal derived ingredients and is not tested on animals. We apply the Vegan tag only where a brand genuinely backs the claim, so this collection reflects real vegan formulations rather than marketing language.
Are all your natural products vegan?
Not all. Most of our plant based range is vegan, but a few items contain animal derived materials, such as brushes with boar bristle or products with beeswax, which we disclose honestly on the product page. This collection filters to the confirmed vegan options.
Is vegan the same as cruelty free?
Not quite. Vegan means no animal ingredients, while cruelty free means not tested on animals. Many products are both, and we tag each claim separately so you can shop by exactly what matters to you. See our Cruelty Free collection too.
How do you verify vegan claims?
We base the tag on the brand's own disclosed formulation and certifications, and where an ingredient like a natural bristle makes a product non vegan, we say so rather than leave it ambiguous.
Do vegan cleaning products work as well?
Yes. Vegan status is about ingredients and testing, not performance. Our vegan cleaners, washes and body care clean effectively using plant derived actives.
