Which One Do I Need?
- Single, 80g. One bar, to try it or to keep the bathroom stocked.
- 3-Pack. Three bars, and better value per bar. The one to buy once you know you like it.
Key Features
- Only plant-based ingredients. Nothing synthetic in the formula.
- Certified 100% palm oil free. Not self-declared.
- Australian made and vegan-friendly. No synthetic fragrance or harsh chemicals.
- Plastic-free, zero-waste format. A solid bar.
- One bar replaces a bottle. Of liquid body wash.
Pūrē Standard
- A saponified coconut oil base, enriched rather than bare. The first ingredient is sodium cocoate, so this is a true soap rather than a synthetic detergent bar. What changes how it feels is what is folded in with it: oatmeal, chamomile, hemp seed oil and glycerine, which is why it lathers creamy instead of leaving skin tight. If you need a pH-balanced cleanser, this is not that product.
- Certified palm oil free. Not self-declared. Palm is in almost every conventional bar, usually hidden behind a chemical name.
- The full ingredient list is published. Every component, named. That is unusual enough in personal care to be worth saying out loud.
- Oatmeal, chamomile and hemp seed oil. With red clay for a gentle mineral finish. A kind formula for skin that gets dry or tight easily.
- Worth knowing before you buy, if you react to fragrance. The scent comes from rose geranium essential oil, which is naturally high in geraniol and citronellol. Both appear on the EU list of declarable fragrance allergens. Essential oil is not the same thing as allergen free, and we would rather you knew that here than find out in the shower.
- Waterless, so you are not freighting a bottle of water. A bar is the format with the lowest transport footprint in the whole category, and the packaging is a plain cardboard box you can compost or recycle.
- Nothing on the usual list. Free from synthetic fragrance, SLS and microplastics.

Our Take
Rose geranium that is grounding rather than granny, and it rinses clean with none of that tight, over-stripped feeling. Soap-free is why: it is formulated as a cleanser, not saponified fats at a high pH.

Frequently asked
Is this a bar or a liquid?
It is a solid body wash bar, a plastic-free swap for bottled liquid. One bar replaces a plastic bottle of body wash.
Will it dry out my skin?
It is soap-free and made with oatmeal, chamomile, hemp seed oil and glycerine to cleanse without stripping, designed to leave dry or sensitive skin soft rather than tight.
What does soap-free actually mean?
Most bars are saponified fats sitting at a high pH, which is what leaves skin feeling tight. This is formulated as a cleanser instead, so it lathers without stripping.
Is it vegan and plastic-free?
Yes, it is vegan-friendly, certified palm oil free, and packaged in a simple compostable and recyclable cardboard box, with no plastic.
How do I make the bar last?
Lather in your hands, apply to damp skin, then rinse. Keep it dry between uses in a soap holder or travel tin and it will last much longer.
