Membership
We would rather hand you something good.
The Household is our membership. There is nothing to join and nothing to carry, and you are in from your first order. Everything it sends you is chosen against the Pūrē Standard, so we do the research and you do not have to. Two things then happen quietly in the background. You collect Drops, and your household moves through three levels. Both give you things we have vetted and trust, and earlier access to them.
The three levels
Your level grows as you settle in with us. Mostly what changes as you move up is how many Household Boxes reach you across the year.
Household One
From your first order- Drops on every order, to claim from the Drops Menu

Household Two

- The Low-Tox Home Consult, once a year. The remote one, where we read your whole house room by room against the Pūrē Standard and write you a plan
- First access to new arrivals and limited pieces that have passed the Pūrē Standard
What the Household Box is
We score everything we sell against the Pūrē Standard, and we publish every score, including the ones with room to improve. The Box is where those scores turn into objects.
Four times a year we pack a small set of full-size things into one of your orders. Sometimes it is what scored highest that quarter. Sometimes it is the one that scored beautifully and almost nobody buys, because it looks unglamorous on a shelf and quietly outperforms the thing you have always used.
You do not choose what is in it, and that is the point. It is how a plastic-free brush or a refillable bottle ends up under your sink without you ever having gone looking for one. Boxes are released in March, June, September and December. You are told when yours is waiting, it travels with your next order, and you have until the following release to claim it.
Your level is held for twelve months from the day you reach it, so one good month is not something you have to repeat straight away to keep.
Drops
Drops are claimed from the Drops Menu, a short list of things we have vetted against the Pūrē Standard. You collect them on your orders, and also by helping us.

What you claim with them
The Drops Menu. Twenty things, from a bamboo cleaning cloth at 200 Drops to a candle at 1,300. All full size, all the real thing, all vetted against the Pūrē Standard. None of them are samples.
To claim something: tell us in your order notes, or reply to any email from us. It goes in with your next order, packed by hand, the same way we pack the samples.
Household Refills
A little extra for the households that refill with us
Household Refills is our refill subscription, built around how often you get through things, the size of your household and the scents or sensitivities you are working with. Every refill earns Drops like any other order, and a few moments earn more.
- 200 with your first refill, enough for something from the Drops Menu straight away
- 250 at your third refill
- 500 at your sixth
- 1,000 at your twelfth
- You move straight to Household Two, so the Household Box finds its way to you in March and September
The practical bits
There is no card and no app. Nothing to sign and nothing to remember. Your Drops do not expire while you are still ordering with us, and everything you claim is packed by hand into an order you were already having.
How it works: one Drop for every dollar on your orders. Samples go in with orders over $100. Household Two is reached at $250 over any twelve months, and Household Three at $600. Levels are reviewed on the first of each month against the previous twelve months. Refunded orders do not count toward a level or earn Drops. Active Household Refills subscribers hold Household Two for as long as their subscription runs, and refill bonus Drops are added once each delivery has shipped. Founding Member status, held by the first fifty Household Refills members, sits alongside all of this and is kept for as long as the membership runs.
