- The streak-free part is chemistry rather than luck. Glass needs a fast-evaporating solvent or it smears, and the industry default is isopropyl alcohol or ammonia, both petrochemical and both responsible for the smell that clears a room. This achieves the same thing with a biodegradable alcohol fermented from sugar, in a six-ingredient formula, and it carries third-party Toxic Free certification. The technique matters too: spray lightly and stay out of direct sun, which is where most streaks actually come from.
- Six ingredients, and you can pronounce all of them. Water, sugar alcohol, peppermint oil, a biodegradable solubiliser, citric acid and sodium benzoate. That is a short list for a product that has to dry without leaving anything behind.

- The peppermint is not just scent. Koala Eco position it as a natural antiseptic and insect deterrent, which is a reasonable thing to want on the inside of a window in February.

Will it leave streaks?
Not if you spray lightly. Over-spraying is the usual culprit. Wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth, and avoid doing a hot window in direct sun, which dries the spray before you can wipe it.
