Three refill tablets, one for each room that needs one. Drop a tablet into a spray bottle, fill with tap water, and you have 500ml of cleaner. This is the refill for the Bottle For Good, or for any spray bottle you already own.
What Is In It
- Kitchen tablet. Citrus Clean, with NZ Kanuka.
- Bathroom tablet. Eucalyptus & Mint, with NZ Kawakawa.
- All Purpose tablet. Green Tea & Lily, with NZ Kanuka.
Key Features
- Each tablet makes 500ml. About 10g of tablet instead of half a litre of shipped water.
- Made in New Zealand. Stated on every box.
- Plant powered, with essential oils. Printed on the pack.
- Cardboard, not plastic. No pouch, no bottle.
Pūrē Standard
- This is the whole argument for the format. A refill that fits through a letterbox, weighs 30g for three rooms, and arrives in cardboard.
- Real New Zealand botanicals, named on the box. Kanuka in the Kitchen and All Purpose tablets, Kawakawa in the Bathroom.
- Made in New Zealand. Printed on every tablet box, which is more than most cleaning brands will commit to.
- Works with a bottle you already own. You do not need theirs. Any spray bottle that holds 500ml will do.
- Where we would like more. Good Change describe the tablets as plant powered with essential oils but do not publish a full ingredient list, which is what holds the transparency score where it is.
Overall score:
| Category | Score |
|---|---|
| Performance | ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3.5/5) |
| Low-Tox & Material Safety | ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) |
| Sustainability | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) |
| Manufacturing Transparency | ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) |
| Packaging | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) |
Why these scores. Sustainability and Packaging take full marks: 30g of cardboard and tablet replaces a litre and a half of liquid in plastic. Low-Tox sits at four because the tablets are plant powered with essential oils and named NZ botanicals, but there is no full ingredient list. Manufacturing Transparency is three for the same reason, despite the origin being stated clearly. Performance is three and a half, because a dissolved tablet is a capable everyday cleaner rather than a heavy-duty degreaser.
How to Use
- Drop the tablet in. Into an empty 500ml spray bottle.
- Add warm tap water. Leave the spray top off while it dissolves.
- Screw the top on. A gentle swirl, and it is ready.
- Rinse before switching. Rinse the bottle out before you change to a different tablet.

Our Take
Thirty grams of cardboard and tablet replaces a litre and a half of liquid in plastic. It is the smallest refill we stock, and it fits through a letterbox.
