A plant-based wash for muddy paws, post-park coats and the unavoidable pong of wet fur. The woody, herbal scent of sweet marjoram meets the lemon-lavender aroma of rosalina, restoring gloss and freshness without stripping the natural oils out of your dog's coat. Made in Australia, and never tested on animals: only on Matilda, Koala Eco's Aussie Shepherd and honorary team member.

Pūrē Standard
- No tea tree oil, which matters more than it sounds. Tea tree is the default botanical in pet washes and it is genuinely risky for animals. This formula uses rosalina instead, which is Melaleuca ericifolia, a gentler relative of the tea tree plant with none of the same concerns. It is the main reason this is one of the few pet products carrying our Pet Safe tag.
- pH-balanced for dogs, not for people. Dog skin sits at a different pH to ours, which is why human shampoo dries a coat out. Getting this right is unglamorous and it is the difference between a wash that cleans and one that leaves your dog scratching.
- Certified rather than claimed. Vegan Australia Certified and the Australian Made and Owned kangaroo, both printed on the back label. Koala Eco also publish the complete ingredient list with the function of each component, which is why Transparency scores 5.
- Worth knowing about the surfactant. Alongside the plant-based coco glucoside and disodium cocoyl glutamate there is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, a synthetic but mild cleanser. It is there to get a proper lather through a thick coat, which the glucosides alone struggle with. A different approach to our glucoside-only lines, and a reasonable one for the job.
- Aloe, panthenol, hemp seed oil and wheat protein. The back half of the ingredient list is all conditioning rather than cleaning, which is why coats come out glossy instead of stripped.
- The packaging is genuinely excellent. 100% post-consumer recycled, recyclable and refillable, with a donation to 1% For The Planet on every bottle sold.
- A nice honesty detail. Koala Eco note on the bottle that the colour can vary batch to batch because they source fresh essential oils each time. Small thing, but it is the sort of note a brand only writes when the oils are real.

How to Use
- Brush the coat first. Removing loose fur makes a noticeable difference to the result.
- Wet the coat. With warm water.
- Lather and rub through. Pay attention to the skin surface and avoid the eye area.
- Rinse thoroughly. Then towel dry.
- Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse with cool water if any gets in.
