The bottle that belongs with the refill concentrate. It arrives diluted, labelled and ready to go, for the weeks when decanting is one step too many.
Key Features
- 500ml trigger spray. Ready to use, no dilution and no rinsing.
- Suits most floors. Hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl and sealed surfaces.
- Spray straight onto a spill. Or four to six sprays per square metre before mopping.
- Dries streak free. With no sticky residue.
Pūrē Standard
- Certified Australian Made and Owned. And 100% cruelty free.
- Refill concentrates exist for it. So the bottle is the one-off purchase and the refill is the habit. That is the whole argument for buying this rather than a supermarket mop liquid.
- Safe for babies, pets and bare feet. Which Murchison-Hume state, and which is the claim that matters on the one surface a crawling child spends all day on.
- Compared with a supermarket floor cleaner. Many supermarket floor cleaners are sold as disinfectants, built on quaternary ammonium compounds or bleach, with added dyes, and they are not required to publish a full ingredient list. This one lists every ingredient. It has no disinfectant, no dye and no isothiazolinone preservative, and it binds minerals with EDDS and sodium gluconate, both readily biodegradable, where many conventional cleaners use EDTA or phosphates.
- Not the gentlest in our range. It cleans with an ethoxylated alcohol and sodium metasilicate, an alkaline salt that lifts grime. Both are common in conventional cleaners. Ethoxylated ingredients can carry trace 1,4-dioxane from manufacturing, and Murchison-Hume do not publish testing for it. Our gentlest cleaners use milder plant-derived surfactants instead. Wear gloves if your skin is sensitive.
- Where we would like more. Murchison-Hume list the formula in full, but not what makes up the fragrance. We have asked.
