- Please do not use this one on cats. This is the single most important thing on the page and it is why the product does not carry our Pet Safe tag. Tea tree oil is well documented as unsafe for cats, who lack the liver enzymes to process its terpenes, and the risk is real even from grooming a treated coat. Nontre.co market the wash for pets generally; we are choosing to be more conservative than that because the consequences of getting it wrong with a cat are severe. For dogs, used as directed and rinsed thoroughly, it is a lovely wash. If you have cats in the house, please choose something else.
- Even with dogs, rinse properly. Tea tree oil should not be left sitting on the coat. Rinse until the water runs clear, keep it away from broken skin, and check with your vet first if your dog is unwell, pregnant or very young.

How to Use
