A pump-action mister in galvanised steel with a powder-coated matte finish. You press the plunger on top rather than squeezing a trigger, which gives a finer, more even mist and is far kinder on your hand over a whole shelf of plants. 600ml is a generous capacity: enough to do the whole collection without refilling.
Key Features
- Galvanised steel body. With a powder-coated matte finish.
- Pump action with a metal nozzle. Press the top plunger for a fine mist.
- 600ml capacity. Enough for a whole collection.
- 9 x 9 x 20cm. Compact enough to leave out.
- Rich tobacco colourway. Also available in cinnamon.
Pūrē Standard
- Steel, not a supermarket spray bottle. The usual alternative is a plastic trigger bottle that cracks at the collar within a year and goes in the bin. This is a metal object you keep.
- Pump action gives a better mist. A trigger sprays; a pump atomises. For foliage, and for anything with fine hairs on its leaves, that difference is the whole point of misting rather than watering.
- Handsome enough to leave out, which means you will use it. The plant care that actually happens is the plant care whose kit is not buried in a cupboard.
- 600ml is a real capacity. Most decorative misters hold 250 to 350ml, which is two plants and a refill.
- Where we would like more. Potted publish the body material, the finish and the dimensions, which is more than most. They do not break down the pump and nozzle components. Their trade listings give the country of manufacture as China.

Our Take
Handsome enough to leave on the sideboard rather than hide in a cupboard. Pump action rather than a trigger, so it atomises properly instead of spitting, and 600ml does the whole collection.

Frequently asked
How does it work?
It is pump action, not a trigger spray. Fill it, screw the collar back down, then press the plunger on top for a fine mist. A pump atomises more finely than a trigger, which is what you want for foliage.
What is it made from?
A galvanised steel body with a powder-coated matte finish, and a metal pump head and nozzle. Potted do not publish a component breakdown of the pump mechanism or a country of manufacture.
How much does it hold?
600ml, which is a genuinely useful capacity. Most decorative misters hold 250 to 350ml, which is about two plants and a refill.
How big is it?
9 x 9 x 20cm.
How do I look after it?
Wipe it dry after use so the powder-coated finish does not water spot, and empty it if you are not using it for a while rather than leaving water standing in a steel body. Use water only, since fertiliser and oils will clog the nozzle.
