One of the very few genuinely plastic free reusable coffee cups on the Australian market: glass, with a silicone sleeve and lid, and nothing else. Barista friendly, fits a car cup holder, and tastes of coffee rather than of the cup. Available in 8oz or 12oz.

Pūrē Standard

Actually plastic free, which is rarer than it sounds. Most "eco" reusable cups have a plastic lid, a plastic sip plug or a plastic band. This one is glass and silicone only, so there is nothing to leach or shed into hot coffee.
LFGB is the tougher silicone test. The German standard tests for what actually migrates out of the material, not just what it is made of. Plenty of silicone kitchenware carries no third-party test at all.
Glass does not hold flavour. Non-porous means yesterday's flat white is not still in there, and it will not stain the way plastic and bamboo composites do.
There is a real end-of-life plan for the silicone. Seed & Sprout run a Silicone Take-Back Program: email them, they send a prepaid label, and the silicone is recycled into flooring and carpet underlay rather than going to landfill. Silicone cannot go in kerbside recycling, so this actually matters.
Made in China, and Seed & Sprout say so. Named as a long-term manufacturing partner rather than buried, which we prefer to vague "ethically made" language.
Where we would like more. There is no closing mechanism on the mouthpiece, so it is a sit-and-sip cup rather than a throw-it-in-your-bag cup. Worth knowing before you buy.
