From Urganiqa's Grounded Collection, and described on the pack as being for the empress in every room. Rosemary, neroli, cedarleaf and teak: fresh, floral, woody and elegantly grounded. An empowering incense for claiming your space with grace, whether you are honouring a victory or just reclaiming your calm authority. 15 hand-dipped sticks, roughly 20 minutes each and around 5 hours in the envelope.
Key Features
- Quantity. 15 sticks per envelope, approximately 20 minutes each and around 5 hours in total.
- The base. Wood powder from sustainably sourced sandalwood, joss and pine.
- The binder. Natural sugarcane bioethanol rather than a petroleum solvent.
- The oils. Hand-dipped in premium-grade fragrance oils and essential oils.
- Origin. Australian made and owned, printed on the pack.
- The throw. A subtle, uplifting scent that lingers without overpowering.
Pūrē Standard
- The stick itself is the giveaway. Cheap incense is a bamboo splint rolled in charcoal and synthetic binder, which is where most of the acrid smoke comes from. This uses wood powders from sandalwood, joss and pine, so the base burns cleanly instead of fighting the fragrance.
- Sugarcane bioethanol, not petroleum solvent. Something has to carry the oil into the stick. Using a plant-derived alcohol rather than a petrochemical one is an unglamorous decision that nobody would notice if they skipped it.
- Twenty minutes is the right length. Long enough for a room to hold the scent, short enough that you are not committing an hour every time you light one. Five hours from an envelope of fifteen is honest maths, and Urganiqa print it on the pack rather than leaving you to work it out.
- Australian made and owned. Printed on the pack, not just claimed on a website, which is worth noting in a category where almost everything is imported.
- Where we would like more. Urganiqa name the woods, the binder and the oil types but do not publish a full itemised ingredient list, and the blend uses fragrance oils alongside essential oils. That is the only thing holding Transparency and Low-Tox at 4.

Our Take
Rich, confident and a touch dramatic, exactly as the name suggests. The base is what makes it: hardwood powders rather than a bamboo splint rolled in charcoal, so the drama stays out of the smoke.

Frequently asked
What does it smell like?
Rosemary, neroli, cedarleaf and teak. Fresh and floral over a woody base, elegantly grounded rather than sweet. Urganiqa describe it as subtle and uplifting, lingering without overpowering.
How long does each stick burn, and how many do I get?
Approximately 20 minutes per stick, with 15 sticks in the envelope, so around five hours in total. Urganiqa also make a 30-stick slider box of this scent.
What is it made from?
Sustainably sourced wood powders of sandalwood, joss and pine, bound with natural sugarcane bioethanol, then hand-dipped in premium-grade fragrance oils and essential oils. Urganiqa do not publish a full itemised ingredient list.
Why does the wood base matter?
Most cheap incense is a bamboo splint rolled in charcoal and a synthetic binder, which is where the harsh, acrid smoke comes from. A wood powder base burns more cleanly, so the fragrance is what you notice rather than the smoke.
Where is it made?
Australian made and owned, printed on the pack rather than only claimed on a website.
How do I burn it safely?
Light the tip, let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so it smoulders. Burn on a heatproof surface in a ventilated room, never leave it unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. Store sealed, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
