- Surviving the wash is the only performance measure a cloth has. Cheap reusable cloths go stiff and grey inside a month, and that is the moment the paper towel quietly comes back. This one holds its texture. Where we would like more is a published fabric weight and a stated fibre process, and that is what is holding the Performance score here.
- It replaces the roll under the sink. Paper towel is bought weekly and binned immediately. One cloth that washes and comes back is the swap with the plainest arithmetic in the kitchen, and it is the cheapest thing we sell that changes a habit.
- Bamboo is genuinely fast to farm. Koala Eco put its growth at roughly 30cm a day, and it needs very little water.
- An honest note on the fibre. Koala Eco describe the fabric as needing no chemical treatment, but do not publish how the bamboo is processed into cloth. Most bamboo fabric is viscose, which is a chemical process. Until they say otherwise we have not scored this as plastic free and we are not repeating the claim, which is why Transparency sits at 2.5 below.

How to Use
- Spray the surface, then wipe. Cleaner onto the bench, not onto the cloth.
- Suits most surfaces. Benchtops, glass, tiles, stainless steel and painted surfaces.
- Rinse and wring between jobs. Rather than moving grime around.
- Keep separate cloths. One for the kitchen, one for the bathroom.
Care Instructions
- Machine wash and reuse. It is built for it.
- Air dry between uses. A cloth left damp in a heap is what starts the smell.
- Skip the fabric softener. It coats the fibres and reduces absorbency.
