A stemmed wine glass in FDA approved food-grade silicone, so it bounces where real stemware snaps. The stem is the part that usually goes, which is exactly why these exist. Each set contains two glasses, one soft sage and one deep olive. Dishwasher, freezer, oven and microwave safe, and light enough to take to the beach without thinking about it.

- Unbreakable is the sustainability argument. The greenest wine glass is the one you do not replace. A stemmed glass is the most fragile thing in most kitchens, and this is the version that survives a tiled floor, a packed esky and an entire Australian summer.
- FDA approved food-grade silicone. A real third-party food-contact standard rather than a vague "food safe" claim. We would like to see LFGB as well, the German standard that tests what actually migrates out of the material, and Porter Green do not publish it.
- Silicone is a polymer, and we say so plainly. It is made from silica rather than petroleum, so it does not shed microplastics or go brittle and cloudy after a season in the sun. It is durable, but it is not plastic free under our standard, so we don't tag it that way. It is also odourless and flavourless, so it will not taint a wine.
- The colour runs through it. Set into the silicone rather than applied as a surface coating, so it cannot chip, scratch off or wear away into a drink.
- Where we would like more. Porter Green publish no capacity for these anywhere, not on their own site and not on their trade listing, so we cannot tell you how much wine they hold and will not guess. Silicone is also durable and inert but not readily recyclable through kerbside collection. Those two gaps are why Transparency and Packaging sit at 3.5.

Are they really unbreakable?
They are food-grade silicone throughout, including the stem, which is the part that normally snaps on a wine glass. They flex rather than shatter.
Will they taint the wine?
No. The silicone is odourless and flavourless and will not pass anything into your drink.
Are they certified food safe?
Yes, FDA approved food-grade silicone. We would like to see LFGB as well, the German food-contact standard that tests what migrates out of the material, but Porter Green do not publish it.
