Most detergent is mostly water, and most of it cleans by brute force: aggressive surfactants and a lot of synthetic fragrance to cover what is left behind. This is the other approach. A concentrate roughly three times the strength of standard detergent, doing the actual work with a five-enzyme system that digests the specific things that stain clothes, at 25ml a load. Developed for mums, mums-to-be and anyone with reactive skin, and gentle enough for baby clothes and delicates.

- Enzymes instead of aggressive surfactants. Protease for protein stains, lipase for oils, amylase for starches, mannanase for food gums, cellulase for brightness. It is a genuinely different mechanism from a conventional detergent, and it is why this can be gentler on fabric and skin without being weaker on stains.
- Concentrated, in a pouch, for a refillable bottle. Three times the strength means a third of the freight and a third of the packaging. The pouch refills the Keeper bottle rather than being another bottle, and Go Nude state no single-use plastic.
- Cold wash friendly, which is the real energy saving. Heating the water is the overwhelming majority of a wash cycle's energy use. A detergent that works cold is doing more for your footprint than most of the claims on the front of a bottle.
- Made in Australia. Formulated, produced and packed in-house in Alexandria, New South Wales. Vegan and cruelty free, both stated on the pack.
- It is scented, not fragrance free. Low-dose essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance, but essential oils still carry naturally occurring fragrance allergens. It is formulated for sensitive and reactive skin, and that is not the same thing as an unscented wash. If you react to fragrance of any kind, this is not the one.
- Where we would like more. Go Nude publish the enzyme system and the free-from list but not a full itemised ingredient breakdown.

How to Use

- Any machine. Suitable for top and front loaders, and effective in a cold wash.
- Delicates. Patch test on delicate fabrics first.
- Storage. Keep in a cool, dry place, away from eyes, and out of reach of children and animals.
