Care Instructions
- Wash before first use. 40°C gives the best plushness and absorbency.
- Tumble dry gently. A low, gentle cycle keeps the loops intact.
- Skip the fabric softener. It coats the loops and reduces absorbency.
- Snip, do not pull. Small pulls in terry are normal. Trim them at the base with sharp scissors.

Our Take
Woven in Portugal by a mill sixty years at it, in a looped terry that gets softer with washing rather than going flat. OEKO-TEX Made in Green certified, so the softness is not a finish that rinses out.

Why 530GSM and not heavier?

Should I wash it before using it?
Yes. A first wash at 40 degrees gives the best plushness and absorbency.
What do I do about small pulls?
Snip, do not pull. Small pulls in terry are normal. Trim them at the base with sharp scissors and the weave stays intact.
Will it shed microplastics?
No. It is 100% cotton with no synthetic blend, so nothing sheds plastic microfibres into the wash and it biodegrades at the end of its life.
