- Bath Towel, 70 x 140cm, 600 GSM. A full-size bath sheet weight rather than a thin hotel towel. Heavy enough to feel like something, light enough to dry on the line.
- Hand Towel, 40 x 70cm, 600 GSM. The same weight and pile as the bath towel, sized for the basin.
- Bath Mat, 50 x 80cm, 900 GSM. Noticeably denser than the towels. Thick and absorbent underfoot, and it stays put rather than skidding across tiles.

- GOTS is the certification that actually means something for cotton. It covers the entire supply chain from field to finished towel, independently inspected: at least 70% certified organic fibre, hazardous chemicals and pesticides prohibited, and only low-impact approved dyes. Most "organic cotton" claims cover the fibre and stop there.
- It certifies the people too. GOTS carries social criteria as well as environmental ones, prohibiting child and forced labour, discrimination and excessive hours, and requiring fair wages in safe conditions. That is a genuinely different standard from a fibre certificate.
- Organic cotton uses around 90% less water. Compared with conventional cotton farming, because organic farms rely far more on rainfall and efficient irrigation.
- The short loop pile is a durability decision, not a style one. Long, plush loops feel luxurious in the shop and snag within a year. This is the trade most premium towel brands will not make.
- Weight you can feel. 600 GSM towels and a 900 GSM mat. For reference, most supermarket towels sit between 300 and 450 GSM.
- Khaki is the quiet one. If the Chartreuse and Electric Blue are too much, this is the same towel in a colour that disappears into the room.

What size are they, and how heavy?

Why should I skip fabric softener?
It coats the cotton loops and stops them absorbing, which is the fastest way to ruin a good towel. If yours have gone water-repellent, a wash with white vinegar and no detergent usually strips the build-up.
