- Built to outlive the trend. A stoneware pot is a decade long object, not a season long one. The most sustainable planter is the one you never have to replace, and this is the format that gets you there.
- Worth knowing before you buy. Potted publish the material, the finish, the external height and the internal diameter, and their trade listings give the country of manufacture as China. They do not publish the external diameter, the glaze composition or the packaging. Care Instructions
- Tip out the base saucer. After watering, so water does not sit.
- Wipe with a damp cloth. Skip abrasive cleaners and scourers, which will scratch a matt glaze quickly.
- Sit it on felt pads. On timber and stone surfaces.
- It is still ceramic. Stoneware is hard wearing, but it will chip if knocked against a hard edge.

- Reactive glazes are variable by design. Colour depth, pooling and tonal shifts differ between pieces, so yours will not be identical to the photograph.
- Drainage is not stated. Potted do not say whether the planter is drilled. The integrated saucer suggests it is intended to drain, but we would confirm before planting directly into it.
